Dear John,
SOIL campus is both technically and environmentally very much ahead of most of the B-Schools here in India. The learning spaces have been designed to promote peer networking and student-faculty interactions. The learning studios are environmentally friendly and well ventilated, spilling into the natural surroundings through large windows. Innovative technology allows for a more impactful study process.
Architecturally, a number of steps have been taken to make the campus environmentally friendly. These include providing an open landscape space for ETS (Environmental Tobacco Smoke), prohibition of smoking in the building, the use of low-emitting VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) materials for adhesives, sealants, paints and coatings, and the creation of naturally lit and well ventilated study spaces that seem to spill into the natural surroundings through large windows.
The institute is a five minute walk from the end of the Metro Line and thus will be well connected to several important parts of NCR. There are several residential colonies at close proximity to the institute.
