What sort of leadership learning would you like to acquire? How would you assess whether your accumulated learning translates into superior business decisions? Consider the question: would you want your leadership to optimize sustainable value for all stakeholders - economic, environmental, social? If your answer is yes, SOIL is the right place for you!

Turning Challenges into Opportunities

In today's world where the issues are complex and the stakes are high, the defining ability to convert a challenge into an opportunity lies in having the right perspective and skill set. Using immersive learning systems, SOIL equips you with the conceptual framework and practical competencies needed to participate in action for change.
Through on-campus study, learning teams, field based immersions, you learn to deal with complexity and uncertainty; armed with skills in critical thinking, futures thinking, systemic thinking, change motivation and management, stakeholder engagement, problem solving and project management.

Putting Collaborative Learning into Practice

Higher education is no longer about addressing a hundred bright minds on Marketing or Finance from a podium; but engaging them in a dialogue which is meaningful and collaborative. Using participant centric learning, our emphasis is on building leaders for the future. You learn within and beyond the classroom, what it means to assume leadership in an ever changing world.
Learn from interactions with stalwarts from industry, what it takes to be a leader who is not only competent but who has the humility, wisdom, compassion and ability to inspire others. Participate in learning models designed for your level of experience, and prepare yourself for taking ownership in tackling complex challenges - business, social and environmental.

A Supportive Learning Environment

The learning spaces at SOIL have been especially designed to promote peer networking and social interaction. Learning studios and innovative technology allow for the study process to be more interactive and impactful.
Architecturally as well, a number of steps have been taken to make the campus environmentally friendly. These include providing an open landscape space for ETS (Environmental Tobacco Smoke), prohibition of smoking in the building, the use of low-emitting VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) materials for adhesives, sealants, paints and coatings, and the creation of naturally lit and well ventilated study spaces that seem to spill into the natural surroundings through large windows.

These are some great reasons to join us!
